Australia’s living history of oil and Gass exploration



Whilst drilling for water oil and gas were discovered. 
It took a while but eventually Roma became the first town in Australia with Gass street lights. 
The gas supply ran out after only 10 days.

 Departing home a little later than planned at 6:45 Yesterday fueled up, checked the tyres and pumped up the rear suspension airbags.  Four hours into the trip the car is on the hoist in Orange having a leaking air bag hose repaired. The broken bit.  Arrived a little late at our scheduled camp site Ponto Falls a few km from Dubbo
