Here we are in Lakeview.

Turn left and head for the tip. 

We are heading right to Cooktown. 

Another trip is waiting. 

The sculpture park walk way is laid out as a map of a trip to the tip

There are many historic buildings in town that look as if they need a lit are and attention 

Modern day sculpture near the Reconciliation Rocks 

Reconciliation Rocks where Capra Cook and the local indigenous people reconciled before coming to blows

In the 1880’s when there was a fear of Invasion by the Russians this Cannon was sent to Cooktown along with 3 Cannon balls, 2 rifles and an officer.
