First stop Milstream Fallls





This area of the Atherton Tablelands was a training area for servicemen heading for New Guinea in WWII. 
Ellen wonders if her Dad trained here and might have walked these paths. 





Nearing the coast we find the bird of paradise flower. 


Highest hotel in QLD @ 916m



Our campsite tonight out of Atherton has a dedicated area to feed Paddymelons, Opossum and Bush Turkeys

 Departing home a little later than planned at 6:45 Yesterday fueled up, checked the tyres and pumped up the rear suspension airbags.  Four hours into the trip the car is on the hoist in Orange having a leaking air bag hose repaired.
