Friend coming to visit


The lava tubes and caves were formed when rivers of lava confined to a valley crusted over and formed a roof. Insulated in its casing of solidified lava, the lava flow carried on for tens of kilometres before draining out, leaving an empty tube of lava.

 Departing home a little later than planned at 6:45 Yesterday fueled up, checked the tyres and pumped up the rear suspension airbags.  Four hours into the trip the car is on the hoist in Orange having a leaking air bag hose repaired.
