 Starting Week 5

Arrived at Undara Lava Tubes



Admin center and much of the accomodation is repurposed railway carriages. 



They were quickly chased away by a Kookaburra 


Off on the Bluff circuit walk


Back in time for an evening wine and cheese sunset viewing before viewing our first lava tube. 


Which is more beautiful?



This tube is inhabited by a colony of micro bats which fly out in massive numbers at sunset.

 Departing home a little later than planned at 6:45 Yesterday fueled up, checked the tyres and pumped up the rear suspension airbags.  Four hours into the trip the car is on the hoist in Orange having a leaking air bag hose repaired.
