Day 24

Our last look at the Gulf of Carpentaria

We were told to stop at Brannigans creek on the way out of town where we would probably see some crocodiles.

Looking to the left, no crocodiles

Looking to the right, no crocodiles.

But look again

There were two more.

Croydon was a Gold Mini g town in the 1800’s

The Bank of NSW building continues to service customers.

Donation camping site adjacent to the rodeo grounds.

Luckily we snagged a shady spot out of the afternoon sun.

An agricultural sunset this evening
