Day 14

The travelling salesman had more lovely fruit and fresh bread still hot from the bakery. Didn’t even get a change to photograph it before it was turned into toast and sandwiches.

110 km out of Winton is the only site in the world where Dinosaur footprints can be seen in a stampede

https://www.dinosaurtrackways.com.au/prehistoric-event/prehistoric-event-1

There are over 3300 footprints from more than 150 animals.

Outside we climber to the observation point then followed the Spinifex walk back to the car.

After enjoying our fresh bread sandwiches and fresh fruit we headed back to town.

Ellen had a few interesting encounters.

Luckily she had pulled over for it took a few minutes for the dust to clear.

Back in town we spent two hours in the Matilda Center.

Additional to the song section there was a truely wonderful local Museum.
